Mount Carmel School, established as a co-education school in 2007, is spread out over 5 acres of land, away from the hustle and bustle of the township.
The mind soothing sight from the school of the flora and fauna of the whole Champawat in the background of beautiful snow peaks and the cedar trees at the rear that form a canopy for the school provide a congenial atmosphere for learning.
Mount Carmel School is a minority institution established by St. John's Society, Najibabad, registered under the Societies Regulation Act 1860. St. John's society is one of the fourteen provinces of the CMI congregation.
Mount Carmel School is run by CMI Fathers. It was born out of the educational vision of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara.
